Welcome to my new site!

I'm possibly going to be doing some work involving Oqtane, or as it was described, work that is "Oqtane adjacent" and so I decided instead of having my web presence be all over the place, I'd focus both a personal portfolio here as well as host a blog. Well, you've found the blog, good for you!

About me: I'm a non-traditional recent grad, currently transitioning from the world of music (and more recently the world of full-time student) to the world of tech. I grew up with QBasic, cut my teeth with Python and Java, and focused most of my efforts during school on C++ and more Python, with smatterings of HTML/CSS Design work thrown in. I'm now working on getting my feet wet with C# as well as focusing on the job hunt, and some open-source opportunities have been made known to me that I may be working on in the near future.

I consider myself very lucky, as both my musical/music education career, and the current fresh, new tech phase are both following passions of mine. In addition to making music and programming I enjoy video gaming, and even have held world records in a few games.

Anyway, this blog is going to be fairly casual, but it's going to document the constant learning and experimentation that go along with a career in tech, so strap in and stay tuned!
